Learn the Art with JustRestore! Painting Techniques Class: Freehand, Ombre, Gold Leaf (*Guest Annie Sloan Star Painter)

Join us for a special guest teacher slot with Sabah Bardhan of JustRestore (add to cart below to checkout and sign up). All materials included, even the decorative objects you’ll be learning techniques on to take home! Sabah is one of Annie Sloan’s ‘Star Painters,’ and in this class she’ll explore 3 gorgeous Chalk Paint® techniques with students:
1- Freehand Cherry Blossom and Branch Painting:
Students will paint freehand cherry blossoms and branches, adding a delicate and beautiful nature-inspired touch to their pieces. Start by covering basic brushstrokes and how to layer colors to build up texture and dimension. Learn how to create the soft pink petals and intricate branches that make this floral design so timeless and universally loved. Whether on a furniture piece, canvas, or even home decor items like trays or coasters, students will enjoy the freedom of creating custom artwork that expresses their personal style. Students can choose to paint full cherry blossom branches or smaller, minimalistic clusters for different design preferences.
2- Two-Tone Ombre Gradient:
Learn how to create seamless two-tone ombre gradients, with a focus on layering techniques and blending colors to create a smooth, flowing effect. Participants will learn how to use white or lighter shades to soften the transition, creating a professional, polished gradient. The beauty of ombre is that it can be done with virtually any color scheme, from soft pastels to bold, vibrant tones.
3- Adding Gold Leaf Accents:
Learn the art of adding gold leaf accents to the pieces worked on in class, creating a luxurious, high-end finish and a contemporary touch.
Due to a limited number of spots per class, we suggest signup and payment for class ahead of time to ensure your spot. You can also sign up and pay over the phone, or swing by our location to do it in person.
