This portrait is done with a specialty process know as Crayon Enlargement, commissioned by an unknown family to be for a young girl around the turn of the century (tail end of the Victorian era), to be created by the Chicago Portrait Company. Measurements:

-25.25” W x 29.25” H x 1.25” D as full frame measurements

-15.25” W x 19.5” H as the glass opening for the portrait

The portrait comes in its original frame, which is ornately carved. Glass covers and protects the portrait, which is fully intact. There are some minor damages to the frame, and some fading to the portrait, which are expected with age.
